2001 Stony Hill White Riesling, Napa Valley: $16
This is one of America's best two or three reislings. Since 1957, its hillside vineyard in a very cool microclimate has given unusual quality, rich aromas and flavors, and less than 1 percent sweetness topped with crisp acidity. Food wine par excellence!
