Tasting Notes: 2000 Stony Hill Chardonnay, Napa Valley

Exceptional

Citrus, trace of white pepper and lean, lime-y aromas; crisp entry and stylish tangerine and apple flavors. As with most Stony Hill Chardonnays, you may age it a decade or more. Simply remarkable wine. Available mainly from the winery, 707-963-2636. Pairs well with grilled or lightly sautèed seafood such as pan-fried trout.
